We believe that finding useful and appropriate information online is not easy, and that it is a right for everyone and a condition for a healty democracy.

The LOIS project aims at understanding how young people between 16 and 20 years search for information online. This is be useful to help young people leanr to make the best of the technologies they have, and media companies to provide betterr services.

LOIS stands for Late-teenagers Online Information Search, a research project funded by the Swiss National Research Foundation and leby by prof. Luca Botturi and prof. Silvia Giordano at the Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera italiana (SUPSI; www.supsi.ch ).
